About the role
As a Media Buyer Specialist at Ontenet Digital Ltd., you will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and scaling paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms. This role focuses on driving measurable business growth through effective media buying strategies, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and data-driven decision-making while maintaining strong ROI and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Develop and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns focused on lead generation, conversions, and revenue growth
- Allocate and manage advertising budgets effectively to maximize performance and return on investment
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop high-performing campaign strategies
Audience Targeting & Funnel Optimization
- Build, test, and optimize audience segments based on demographics, interests, behaviors, and customer intent
- Develop and optimize customer acquisition funnels to improve lead quality and conversion rates
- Utilize retargeting, lookalike audiences, and advanced targeting methods to improve campaign effectiveness
Campaign Optimization & A/B Testing
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, ad copy, audience segments, placements, and landing pages
- Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including ROAS, ROI, CPL, CPC, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates
- Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns while maintaining efficiency
- Reduce wasted ad spend through continuous performance analysis and optimization
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
- Implement and monitor tracking systems including Facebook Pixel, Conversion API, GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and UTM parameters
- Analyze campaign performance data and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Prepare and present clear performance reports with recommendations for optimization and growth
- Ensure accurate attribution and measurement across all marketing channels
Requirements
Must Have
- 3–4+ years of hands-on experience in media buying and performance marketing
- Strong expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Business Manager
- Proven experience managing and optimizing paid campaigns with measurable results
- Strong understanding of campaign performance metrics and ROI-driven marketing strategies
Preferred
- Experience with Google Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, and other advertising platforms
- Experience working with conversion tracking and analytics tools including GA4 and GTM
- Ability to analyze customer journeys, funnels, and conversion paths
- Experience managing medium to large-scale advertising budgets
Good to Have
- Experience working with international clients and campaigns
- Knowledge of creative strategy, ad hooks, messaging, and conversion-focused copy
- Experience with marketing dashboards and reporting tools
- Familiarity with lead generation and eCommerce marketing campaigns
